Bigboi20
I started a thread during football season asking who the best QB was in the state. We had great discussions! Let's get a discussion going on the top shooters in Tennessee. If you would like we can expand it to top scorers in the state. All Classes...... please feel free to post great shooting & scoring nights I REALLY look fed to this thread responses. Ready go......... Cubstan
Watch out for CPAs Clay Washburn. He's about 6' 7" now but he's not a post player. He can drain 3s. He was averaging 28 a game last I checked. I haven't watched BA's Darius Garland yet but he's most likely the best player in the state. I'll see him soon. I'll let you know
Hyperquick
Easton Upchurch of Maryville High School, kid can shoot on the move or catch & shoot, can create his own shot from just about anywhere on the floor, has very good range & is consistent, quick release & great form
Norman Dale
Always lots of great shooters- in ET, some of the top ones off the top of my head would be Luke Smith of Catholic, Taijon Jones of Oak Ridge, Nick Rogers of Farragut. and Hunter Reynolds of CAK. Add Jack Sompayrac from Knoxville Catholic to that list. He's hit 16 threes in the Irish's last four games. He's shooting over 50% from three point land. TonyG
In the memphis area. Best all around shooter who can create his own shot is Tyler Harris whom i saw hit 9 from outside and this was at the 4 minute mark in the 3rd quarter and he just stopped shooting after that also saw him hit 10 in a full game this year also. Probably the best shooter in the state due to his ability to create the shot and not many kids shoot it from the volleyball line like its the charity stripe. Jalen Crutcher is a close second in the area, its not really that close to tyler he's just closer than everyone else is and shooting and being able to create the shot. Best midrange game is Luke Wiseman from Arlington, I wish this kid was on a good team so bad. His father Lang was a solid player at UT back in his day. Best spot up shooter is the Ryan Schweitzer from Christian Brothers, kid can not create a shot for himself though at all. Best all around shooter is Harris no matter what level we're talking about. I'm just throwing out there the players I have seen. I haven't seen the kids at Dubois yet but I have heard they can light it up also, how else can you put up over 120 pts 3 times in 12 games so far.
