Let me help you all out with the Clarksville school district.  Sports are not important, student test scores are.  They don't want good coaches, they want people who can teach in the classroom and make sure the athletes don't cause drama.

 

Clarksville has some of the best athletes in the state.  If the school district would back off a bit and let coaches coach, you would have some state championships somewhere.  If they actually funded athletics well, you would have some state championships.  As it is right now, Clarksville is a horrible place to teach and coach, so that is why you have so many people who leave after one or two years.

Disagree that it's a horrible place to teach, there's an emphasis on student success in the classroom and that shows as its one of the better performing districts in the state especially given the areas demographics.  As far as athletics goes though you have a point.  The support for middle school and developmental programs by the district is non-exsistent.

Nothing here. I would think they would go out side of the area and bring in someone who can take that team to a new level. Tons of talent at NE. Surely a Clarksville school wouldn't settle would they? 😉
