Cumberland won over Rhea Co, I had wondered about Cumberland since they had taken a tumble over the last couple of weeks. 

Wow, I guess I was wrong on your catcher, I had seen her make some great plays, but that was in three or four games not over the whole season. 

The tournament should be a good one to watch, so many of the teams are just right together and have had some good games.

Overall, the season has been a good one, with some good plays and some not so good plays, but at least there has been some parity. 

Looking forward to seeing the tournament, I think it is in Warren Co.

TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many times we all take up for someone who is entitled and don't try to fix the problem.

District 6AAA Tournament is scheduled to begin May 4th at Warren County High School, 199 Pioneer Lane in McMinnville.

Hoping for a great tournament and in the end 2 teams that represent our district well in the region.  Good Luck Lady Pioneers!

Looks like nobody is undefeated now in this district, with Warren getting beat by Rhea Co.  Was a good game between the two, but Rhea has so much speed on the bases and Warren couldn't seem to do much with them.  

Rhea's coach is the real deal.  I talked with the coaches after the game - Rhea is coming on and peaking at the right time, better look out for them in the district.  

Good game overall. Lots of hustle by both teams, no laziness, just how I like to see a game. 

 

Now it is district time and we will see what happened.  This is a weak district overall and I think it is proven to be weak by how our top teams go out and play other districts lower teams and get drilled, so not looking forward to region play, but we will sent two teams, just which two.

So who does everybody see as the All District team?

 

I like the starting pitcher from Rhea, as well as #51, not sure of her name. From Warren, could be several kids. Cumberland only has one or two that stood out to me, the first baseman, who also pitched quite a bit and maybe the catcher. If the #1 pitcher hadn't spent most of the season in the dugout, I would've said her too. White County has a good pitcher too and MAYBE one more player. Stone, Lord help them. The only All District girl I saw for them was their 3rd baseman. She can it and if a ball is hit to her, she will catch it! I only got to watch Cookeville play one game so I can't really speak on them.

All District team, well this is just what I have seen and is just my opinion. Rhea has the best outfielder in district and the twins are very good. Warren has a very good catcher, shortstop and 2nd baseman.. White has a good shortstop. Cumberland's 1st baseman is good. Cookeville's pitcher is good and they have a good catcher. No one from Stone really stands out that I remember. I believe the all district team is voted on by the 6 district coaches and stats should play a big part in the selection. Again this is just what I saw and just my opinion but I think Warren has the best team, Rhea has the best player and Cookeville the best pitcher.

This is a weak district and any one of the top 4 teams could win the tournament.

I think ther are several girls from the top 3 teams that deserve all district. I also think some of u have over looked a few girls don't be surprised at some of the ones that make all district. Hard choices for these coaches but I think if u look at the stats it shod be easy to see who ur MVP, offensive and defensive players are for this district.

 

So sad that the rain has set in again I'm sure we get rained out tonight. So everything will get pushed to start Monday
