WesVols Clinic Bowl Predictions

Here are my predictions for the three Division 2 State Championship games at Vanderbilt this Friday and Saturday. These are just basic scores, but I'll add summaries this afternoon.

 

D2-A: Bishop Byrne 13, Southern Baptist Educational Center 7

 

D2-2A: Battle Ground Academy 20, Briarcrest 14

 

D2-3A: Brentwood Academy 31, Montgomery Bell Academy 14

I dont know a whole lot about the A and AA games but I do know a lot about the AAA game. I think BA by far has more talent and size and will again pound the Big Red into the grass.

The AAA game is a hands down BA pick on paper, but I think for MBA/BA- throw out the records. MBA really spreads their offense out and will be tough to defend. I think BA wins, but barely.

I agree with WildCatFan...MBA and BA you can never tell. I was right about MBA-MUS...I'm going with MBA again!!! Mainly because I want them to win!!!

I'll only predict the ones I have seen at least one team.

 

2A - I like the improvement Briarcrest has made, and I'll go with them in the upset squeaker

 

BCS - 17

3A - Clearly MBA has improved a great deal, and has shown it over the past several weeks. Unfortunately for the Big Red, BA has dramatically improved as well. They are both young teams on balance, and clearly the history demonstrates that anything can happen. I just think the Eagles are too big, too talented, and very motivated.
