I promise I'm not trying to say anything bad about the young man, but he isn't tall enough to see under center. When the ball was snapped, he couldn't find receivers. And a good defense coach will eat them alive if they pick up on what I seen out of the o line.

Got to keep working but I think we will be fine.

The CAK football family is looking forward to hosting the folks from Greenback Friday. Hopefully you'll enjoy your visit to our place.  Concession food is pretty good; banana pudding is one of the specialties.

It will be the home opener for the Warriors.  They lost a tough game to a very talented Christ School of Asheville team Saturday night on the road.  Three turnovers in the red zone after long drives caused the Warriors to miss out on multiple scoring opportunities; the Greenies of Christ School didn't have a turnover, so the turnover ratio was a big factor in the outcome. The officiating by the NC crew was incredibly bad and, while it probably didn't affect the ultimate outcome, made what should have been a two-hour game a very painful to watch almost-four-hour circus.

Just like Game 1 last year, the Warriors lost a starter to a season-ending injury, a speedy DB who was also one of the rotation guys in the receiving corps.

Some of the posts on here talk about CAK passing a lot.  The Warriors still throw the ball quite a bit, but not quite the same skewed percentage as under Rusty Bradley.  The Warriors try to be more balanced under the new coaching staff.

We have been watching your alls film from Saturday and the scrimmages that you played in this spring. I think if we can fix a few things it could be a good ball game but we can't play like we did Friday or it will get ugly. I love banana pudding!!!!!!
