Rankin 0-10 year one at smith co, then some good years , followed by a 4-6 season.  Then the 2 undefeated season u meantioned , those 2 seasons he lost in the 1st round of the playoffs

1st year at Riverdale 4-6 then a nice undefeated season in 99 that he lost in the first round of the playoffs 

 

then on to Alcoa where he was loaded with talent and got his only 2 wins against maryville , then a random 6-4 season where he almost got mercy ruled by Greenville ..

 

the game has a lot to do with the jimmys and joes not just x's and o'sX's and O's

Ok. Since you asked. Shad is 0-13 vs Rankin.

Shad is the 1st WB coach in 25yrs to have a CAREER loss to Heritage and LC.

Once agian that stat of 0-13 is about the talent.  When the talent got even rankin headed to 2 a football ..

Only 1 WB coach has lost to Heritage in the last 20 yrs.
