Will the State 100m & 200m records be broken anyti

Does anyone think that the 100 and 200 state records will be broken anytime soon? They've only lasted for what 3 or 4 yrs, but is there anyone out that that thinks it can be done?? I really don't know right now. I haven't heard of any speedburners right now, but there could be someone out there!

2007...Tyree Ford, eighth grader at BA. ran 11.0 last year as a 7th grader. has already been called by some coaches, the best pure athlete BA has ever had.

Taylor Hart ran a 10.95 last year as a sophomore at Brentwood Academy. BA's 4x100 this year: Hart(10.95); Theo Townsend( 11.4 as a sophomore); Chase McTorry(11.1); Chris Slay(don't know, but was fastest person on football team).

Taylor Hart is fast, but I'm pretty sure that the 10.95 100m time is hand-timed. In state, he finished 5th in the 100 with a solid time of 11.46, especially for a sophomore.

 

As for the 100 or 200 records being broken in the next few years, it is very unlikely.

 

Also, BA's 4x1 will be very strong this year if they stack it with those people.

I believe Hart ran the 10.95 to win Region, but I could be wrong. If it was at Region, then it was not hand-timed.

I believe the 100m record was broken my sophomore yr, and it was a 10.5. I wasn't far behind with a 10.6, but we were in different classifications!!! I don't know about the 200m, but I think Davis broke that too with a 20.8
