That would be their biggest mistake. He was part of three teams going to Cookeville. Whoever says he's on the hot seat might need to stop and ask themselves who wants to come in there right now?

We are talking about the enormous senior class at Coalfield. Senior classes of 20 plus don't come around often in 1A. Wayne Co in 2011, Gordonsville in 2012, Union City in 2014, Dresden in 2016 are the ones that come to mind recently. They all left with a gold ball.

It's 19 seniors by my count (I could have missed one) and only about 10 or so make more than a token contribution. 1/3 or more never see the field until the game is basically over. 10+ is a nice number, but I doubt it's anywhere close to what those teams had.... In number or ability.
