LOL I raised my expectations a little too soon with this team.  I knew the competition was bad but we looked really good early on.  The way you described Monterey (really young and inexperience up front) I just knew we'd beat y'all up pretty good.  I think that's the issue with this team, the line play has been bad at times.  We'll see if that improves as the season goes on.

We are up front! I went from thinking 3-7 to 7-3! Our seniors are all Defensive backs and they are fast and read good! They have surprised me to say the least! The night we played you guys it was nasty! After we played Midway I realized we had some potential especially against a passing team! MTP was a Pretty good team! I don't know who will end up on top of Region when the last week of October comes! Just beat Clay lol I am going to keep saying that!

Don't get on here much MOTO. It's been a few tough years. I had the same feeling as you about this years team. The lose to Monterey  was really tough. They were ready to play and we weren't. They are well coached. If we can get the effort we did against East in the 2nd half, we can win some more games. That showed me we were capable of playing some decent football.

I'm gonna say JB wins this one by a touchdown...14-7.  With the play makers we have on offense  we should be averaging about 35 a game but we can't seem to get it going.  Maybe tonight is the night!

Westmoreland folks, quick question: Do you all ever notice how the Gallatin News (not the News Examiner) never mentions the Eagles in any content during the week? They call their sports package "Sumner Gameday," yet Westmoreland is not among the teams. It's certainly not fair, but do you all notice?

Sounds about right. It's also the same media company that was going to be banned from Station Camp High School's campus if they did not fire their sports writer last year after all the hoopla surrounding the basketball team.

Maybe too many schools to cover and not enough viewership in the Westmoreland area?
