Powell @ Campbell County

Huge region game for both teams, and the final road game for Powell in 2017. The Panthers thumped an improved Lenoir City team last week to improve to 5-1, while the Cougars are coming off of a bye and sit at 4-1. This is an intriguing game. I'm leaning towards CC, simply because I'm still waiting to see if Powell can beat an opponent of CC's caliber; Lenoir City is Powell's best win so far, and outside of that, they've beaten 4 cupcakes. CC will definitely be the toughest test that Powell has faced so far, outside of Fulton, and it will ultimately define whether or not the Panthers are for real or not. Powell has been without their top 2 RBs for the past few weeks, but they've had a surprising amount of success with their 3rd and 4th backs, thanks to an improved offensive line. It'll be interesting to see if they can have similar success against a team like CC, if those top 2 backs aren't available.

Should be a great game!

Better be able to cover the short pass. CC will wear you out with 5-7 yard slants.

This should be a good close game.

This will be an interesting game for sure.  I'm picking CC to win. Powell is much improved, but I think CC is better.

This is the high school game I'm headed to this Friday. I'm hoping for a good close game. I have no preference over who I want to win.

CC is too much in this one, IMO. I'll take the Cougars 42-17 over Powell.

CC if they are a decent team should have there way with Powell.  Powell just beat Clinton 17 to 0 and Clinton is bad. This game will tell a lot about both teams. This is for 3rd and 4th place...

This could be for 4th and 5th place.  I still see Fulton, OR, and West finishing top 3.  So, this is a playoff game, the loser most likely is out.
