The freshmen starter(Slatten) looks really good so far. He had 19 Monday night. He was the leading scorer again on Tuesday with 18 points.

White County has now won 4 of 5. Definitely playing better and better. Slatten led the way again with 21. Boys and girls started 2 freshmen.  Future looks good.

Sounds like you got some young talent.  Who have you all played?  I've been so frustrated with coach t and their schedules lately.  I wouldn't even know who CHS was playing if not for picking up a schedule at one of the home games.  

Looks like Warren is off to a hot start.

We do have some great young talent,who are going to be great players.  As far as our schedule as been. ..... it's helping our confidence

Well hey, its all about which strings you pull and which buttons you push.  If it makes you better in the postseason, that is all that matters.  I, for one, won't get on to anyone for the schedule they play.  I was just wondering if we had any common opponents.

We have played dekalb, signal mt, sequatchie, farragut, Jackson co. I think we play at Crossville Friday.

White loses to Cumberland 57 to 54. White actually led 36 to 21. We only scored 3 in the 4th quarter. Cumberlands first lead of the game was  55 to 54.

Single A Van Buren Co. beat Cookeville on the mountain last night by 2.

Looks like CHS picked up a nice road win last night at Lebanon.   I wasn't able to attend this or the Van Buren Co game but I've heard Van Buren co is really good for a single A team and are expected to go back to state.

Cookeville played a really nice second half last night against Lebanon scoring 47 second half points and won 78-69.  Lebanon led by 9 at the half.  I bet Cookeville didn't miss more than 5 shots the entire second half.  This was the second meeting between the two teams as Lebanon had won the first meeting 63-52 at Cookeville last month. 

Good luck to the Cavs the rest of this season.  Nice to have y'all back on the schedule.  Not sure why we haven't had a home & home with White Co.  the past couple of seasons.  Always enjoyed that one as well.
