Huge up front and very fast, that being said we were inside the 20 four times I believe and couldn't punch it in with the two plays we ran all night. They scored on a long interception return. Our defense played lights out. You should be fine until Huntingdon puts a running clock on you, which they would have done to us too, good luck

Running two plays finally caught up to us. Been saying since our freshman QB got hurt that we were going to have to mix it up or we wouldn’t make it far in the playoffs & that’s exactly what happened. Hillcrest line is huge so there is no running it up the middle & they’re fast so they kept us from going to the outside. We waited to pass until it was a must pass situation. Can not say enough about how well our guys played on defense. Looked like two different teams out there. Lake County should be ok against Hillcrest then will meet up with Huntingdon & your season will end just like anyone else that has or will play the Mustangs this year. They’re just that good. Good luck Falcons!

Im hoping LC can take care of business.Hope its warmer Friday night.Im pleased with Lake Cos season so far record wise,starting 10 sophomores.There have been some games lacmluster because of the opponents knowing probably easy wins going in.Just hope our guys dont go into the game thinking,like last night Lake Co beat Prep twicw handidly and Westwood lost to them or They just beat the region champs who beat Hillcrest.So have to stay focused.Lake Co had to travel a long way to take care of business against their top team,which threw the ball a lot.So hoping just a chance to get to Huntingdon will be ok.Did Hillcrest throw very much?Too bad Dresden didnt punch it in.Rather played u guys and have one of us represent and play Hunt.Congrats though on yalls season

      Why did the coach get rehired after she was let go as an assistant by the former Warren County coach and the current AD?? Is that accurate?? I am very familiar with situations like this. Suprised lawsuits haven't happend before. If the coach unfairly let the player go, I think she has a shot because it cost her a scholarship. No college is going to offer a scholarship to a player that is kicked off of the team. Not going to happen. There are bad hires like this a bunch and kids are treated unfairly by coaches that can't coach a lick and have super long ropes somehow. Amazing how some of these coaches get hired and keep their job.

      I am going to assume you are not a lawyer, and most reasonable lawyers would not say the lawsuit has a zero percent chance in court. I agree with you that a coach has the ability to dismiss anyone from a team. However, Ms. Winfree was never presented with the opportunity to present her witnesses and have them tell the coaches and administrators what they heard. A lawyer could better explain the lawsuit and the grounds to you. Before you start making wild assumptions about the lawsuit, would it be too much to ask that you do a little legal research first?       The administration took the path of backing the coach and whispering to people that the kid was a problem. The reality is that the kid was never a problem on a team or classroom. The player says she has witnessed who back her not saying the f-word.  Why did the coach make that story up and other stories? I am not Sigmund Freud and do not have an answer for the ex=-coach's behavior..

      I think they have they coach they want close to being done. I guess we will all see how this plays out. I hope the hire a good one. There are some players in the box for the next coach to work with.
