We used to scrimmage them every year.I guess they moved down last class change.They WERE 3A correct?

I think you are still top 4. Besides Trousdale, Meigs and Tyner. Who else do you think is better? Rockwood?

You all are like TC,SP,GB and teams of that Nature.Those type teams just cant never be counted out.Very good coaching and kids they are used to winning and hate losing more than they love winning.I tbink you all have the stuff to be MUCH improved.Meigs has A TON of potential but cant seem to get past Marion,almost like Hampton.

I don’t know about 25 lol but I do know there was at least 9 including most of the line. This is coming from one of their players

When Marion beat us in 2015 and 2016 you just had superior talent period. There was a large gap in talent in your team and nearly every other in 2a only maybe 4 teams could compete with you those years. Meigs wasn't one of them. This year, and last we have the talent, we have the athletes, we have a good coach ( played for Auburn has to know a little something  ). And the kids want it seemingly so bad they can taste it. I hope to see you in the playoffs maybe we can see if we got the Marion County monkey off our backs.

Tyner has 40 kids total. There were 31 there. They had a couple starters out with injuries but for the most part they were playing. Couple of kids from Detroit that had moved down looked good. #7 was a hoss. One of the Tyner parents said that when school starts they will pick up 25 to 30 kids. They didn't have a lot of linemen so I'm sure when school starts there will be some big boys show up. If the team that was at Seq Friday night is the actual team for the season I can't hand them the region.

We had a good group those few years. We have some good kids now but they are young. A couple of years and we should be ok. I doubt we see Meigs in the playoffs and that's probably a good thing.

I said the same thing and I'm sure that number is probably wrong. I was not there my nephew was and that's what he was told. He did say he could tell it wasn't their starting line!!!

I was waiting on a friend to get there to watch the scrimmage and when I saw Tyner come on the field I knew something wasn't right. I called him and said Tyner didn't bring their starters lol. We sat with some Tyner parents and they kinda clued us into what the deal was. If kids show up in the fall to play and the ones who've grueled it out in the summer don't mind then more power to them. I do know that Batiste and Goodwin were out. As for others I'm not sure but that was the smallest line I've seen in a while for them so I assumed there were some that weren't there. I saw some of our kids there as well.
