He was that big last year. He put on 40 pounds since the end of the season and is up to 285.

And you are absolutely right about Crite. If they keep a lid on him they will be fine. But easier said than done.

I may be wrong but he didn't have an impact on the outcome of the game last year, of course, he is a nice looking athlete but he didn't stand out to me like the way Lebanon QB seemed like the best player on the devil's team last year

He wasn't a factor, after watching last years game over, I think he had like 3 tackles and .5 a sack, but he was limited in 2nd half with cramps. Last year the jackets seemed to let him take himself out of the play, running the FB trap right where he slanted from, would expect the jackets to treat him like a tall Georgia pine and chop him down a little at a time, offensively the jackets will be multiple but will be a Trousdale County team for sure here we come stop us if you can

I seen them play 4 times last year and he was on a rotation in pretty much every game only playing about half the snaps. I don't think that will be the case this year. He is said to be in much better shape. We will find out and it will be good for TC to go up against players of that caliber for later in the season.

Will be a great test for the TC o-line, our line is bigger than in years past, pretty athletic up front as well , led by Sr's Jake Gregory, Xavian Seay, and Cooper Belcher, Gregory is an all-state talent on Defense but is also a wrecking ball when he pulls on a DE/Backer, I have never seen a kid that loves the iron as much as Jake, great kid and great work ethic, he will be our most important person in the line on both sides of the ball.

This Jackets team is loaded with talent.  With that being said, it will be up to them to go out and perform to their potential.  Protecting the ball is a huge factor.  This game will be a measuring stick for them.  You would like to win them all, but as long as they stay healthy through these first couple of games, I'd be happy.   Predictions for this game.....TC-27  Lebanon-13

I agree with you. TC always want to win every game but these first two mean nothing as far as playoffs go. Stay healthy!

I can't tell you how many times in the last 25 years I've seen a D1 commit on a high school field get completely outplayed by a good ol boy who never sniffs a college offer.

    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
