You make great points and I agree with you but TC was winning 13-7 when Gallatin started subbing players in the jamboree.  You won congrats, big deal but let’s be factual.  I think TC wins vs Lebanon.  Gallatin saw both and I think TC is the better club but it will be close.

Yeah not worried about a Gallatin argument I was there sounds like you were too. I haven’t seen Lebanon since we played them last year. I love the competitive nature here in TC. We shouldn’t be on the field with a 6A better yet actually competing and winning. But that’s what makes this place special. Can’t wait for tomorrow. Good luck to the Greenwave as well. Got a tough program in Springfield. Finally football season!!!! Here’s to the kids staying healthy and the parents/fans not acting like morons! Lol good luck everyone!

Also to draw interest to a rebuilding program. And it has worked. Nobody in the community really cares when you play somebody like Lincoln County or Franklin County. But when you play these border-war type games it draws more interest.

I've been saying it for awhile that Lebanon should have been playing against these teams like Lavergne, Trousdale, Smith Co., Macon Co. and Friendship etc. As opposed to some of the 4a-5a teams from 1-2 hours away that they scheduled in the past.

It’s to make money. Go to the game Friday and you will see why the scheduled each other. Last year at Lebanon it was packed. Same thing tomorrow night. They will make a killin at the gate and concessions. Rain may hurt but that’s why they scheduled each other.

Agree on this!

Trousdale Co has a special vibe going on.  Love the atmosphere in Hartsville on a Friday night.  Best of luck this year, we are pulling for ya here in Gallatin.

This game is going to be very tight.  I never look at the numbers game.  Yes, Lebanon will double to triple the number of players that Trousdale has, BUT it's 11 on 11 all night long....A lot of our guys have to play both sides of the ball, which is nothing new for Trousdale County Football.  Good luck to both teams tomorrow night and praying for an injury free game.

Actually, on paper, I think it's in TC's favor. TC won last year, and they have as many or more starters returning.

Last year both teams had 1st year coaches, so they're now both in their second year.

The classification is the only place where Lebanon has an obvious advantage.

And, let's face it. TC is not the average 2A team. With the talent they have this year, they would at least be a playoff team in 6A. Most can't say that.

I though all 6A schools made the playoffs?...am i wrong?...maybe that was the previous classifications

    • Wow I haven't been keeping up with softball had no idea.Been keeping up with baseball and we are slowly fading there.I will check it out!!Thx
    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
