In the Knoxville area Bearden, Maryville, Oak Ridge, Powell, Fulton, Alcoa, Austin-East, Sweetwater, Webb and Grace Christian will be state contenders. Knoxville Catholic has 3 talented freshman, one is 6'11 ( he played at their feeder school Sacred Heart).  They also have a 6'9 junior who is eligible, after transferring in from Knoxville Christian last year but had to sit out.  The Irish are in a district with Bearden and Maryville (which alone will be a challege) and in a region with Oak Ridge, and Powell.  But as we all know the state title runs through Memphis.

Where is Pridemore coach in Fl.? I am from Fl. Tebow played at Nease in St. Augustine so I'll do some digging and see if he coached there. I know a very good coach (Bud Beech) coached at Nease for years until recently so that would surprise me if he was there, but it could have been within the timeframe. If Lawson is the only player East lost to transfer, they will be very very good I assure anyone.

He coached him at Trinity his freshman year before he went to nease. Mr Tebow gave Obion a great reference. Family’s are very close still today

Then if they are going to compete in that region they must have some transfers or great freshman.
