Of course The Defending State Champs are #1 for a reason. What’s everyone else think? I believe Betsy should be a little farther up on the list myself.

I put zero stock in these polls and the sports writers that vote in them.  #3 Haywood County is 0-1 on the season after dropping their season opener to Henry County last Friday.  These polls can't even get the team records right.

I disagree with Greeneville getting 13 votes. This will change as the season progresses. IMO Mavs will eventually take over #1 after the Devil's and Cyclones match up and Elizabethton will obviously move to #2. Just have wait now.

Glad to see the Marshall County Tigers ranked in the top 10.  Everyone thought that this season maybe a rebuilding one after the loss of their starting QB from the past 2 seasons.  But after the 1st week, not really sure they are worried about that position now.  I know the season is young and things could change but hopefully not.  Glad to see the next guy step up and be productive.  Here's to a great season for the Tigers!
