Well, if he felt like he was wrongly accused of something that could tarnish his character then I don't blame him a bit for standing up for himself. Sometimes you have to stand up for yourself in life.

Agree...but is stating your won-loss record and going into details about drafting you son as a coach while you're away really "standing up for yourself?"

I don't have a problem with anything he said in that statement. It doesn't really make a difference either way. I have a hard time believing he said #55 deserved getting knocked out just because they were leaving the starters in. Perhaps he said something like that for another reason... I don't know. I do think he should let #24 play. I get why he doesn't want him to but still...

I also left at the start of the 4th. 3:30 am comes early. Thursday games are the worst.
