It's GAME DAY!!!

It's  GAME DAY!!!!!!

Are you sure? Did you hear this straight from Coach Gaddis? Until, I know for sure Coach Gaddis said it was game day I won't believe it.

:D  Totally kidding. There is a disagreement going on in a different thread and I am just being silly.

Bold Prediction Time!!!! Sevier County 7  Oak Ridge 0

....then the Wildcat busses finally show up after being stuck in Knoxville traffic and win the game  44 - 7.

Not so fast my friend...

I am a little uneasy with all the blow out picks. I hope the team is having a great week of practice and taking the Smokey Bears seriously. They have a proud tradition and would love to beat the Wildcats.

With that said, I pick OR to win 134 - 0. Just kidding!!! :D

The last time I went to an OR at SC game was in the mid 1990's and my car's alternator died in Sevierville. I had the car towed to a service station and walked to a cheap motel for the night since the service station had to order an alternator which would come on Saturday. The room I got had a waterbed and bugs. I listened to the second half of the game and the Wildcats lost a heart breaker.

To make matters worse on the way back to OR I heard a rattle coming from somewhere under the back of the car. When I got to my apartment, I foolishly reached to the muffler and grabbed the pipe to see if it was loose. The next thing I did was drive to the ER to have my badly burned hand treated. Many tears were shed on the way.

If you don't know by now, I am not the brightest star in the night time sky.

Sorry, had to laugh!

Hope the Wildcats have a good game!  RWR!

    • Playing high school sports is a privilege not a right.  The college did not have to rescind the scholarship.  Scholarship offers are pulled all the time for a number of reasons. That was 100% their choice.  A coach can keep, cut, or dismiss any player that they want to without reason anytime they want.  Is that the right way to run a program?? I don't think that it is, but these are the facts of the matter. This case has absolutely 0% chance of going in the plaintiff's favor. Futhermore, I'd imagine that these administrators and the coach are a part of some teaching or coaching organization that will cover at least 1 million dollars each in legal fees. Obviously the kid and her family feel like there were "damages" thus the lawsuit.  Unfortunately, the law is not on their side in this case.
    • Maryville will recapture the loses from last year against West, Bradley and Farragut. The Bearden game will be the tough one but I look for the wheels to come off that ride somewhere down the road because of all the crap that goes on there. I know to many parents there and some of the things I've been told and some of the post a few of them have made on facebook. They all can't be liars.
    • If Heritage moves down and Alcoa moves up the best thing for Heritage is to do what William Blount did when theystopped playing Maryville or meet certain defeat. Honestly can't see Alcoa not moving up the way the county is growing. Might be in the Mountaineers best interest to stay in 5A because none of those teams on their schedule are anything close to Alcoa.
    • I say over as well. Barney, regarding the move to 4A, will the cross-town blowhards move up as well??
