Now gonna have to hear from King for 12 months

King is gonna be nice. The Hampton community lost something bigger than a football game this week.  Y'al are in our prayers.  We're pretty banged up right now. Big blair didn't play the 2nd half.  Gotta get everyone healthy so we can make a run to cooper field :)

Just curious what everyone thinks of cland's d now.  We've shut everyone down 4 weeks in a row now. Brewer's schemes have made a difference this year. We're playing the pass as well as we've ever played it and holding teams under 100 yards on the ground giving up 15 points the last 4 games

Not a great team but as good as they can be. I kept my opinion to myself on this one but it was as I expected. I did think it would have been a little more competitive. Picked Cloudland by 12.

Mike didn’t want to hurt jrs feelings. But more than that, he wasn’t gonna have Kat in his ear for running the score up on him. lol  Easily 40+ to 0 if we don’t let up in the 3rd. No score in the second half? That tells the tale. This was our year. HHS has tons of young talent coming up and several freshmen gaining experience this year. These back to back wins will be the last for a while...  Again...

I didn't realize how young Hampton is.  It really showed in the line and at linebacker.  If the Potter boy gets in the weightroom, he will be a beast next year.  That kid is tough.  Cland just had too much experience all over the field for the dogs this year.

Really young team with some size and talent. I knew this year would have growing pains. It gets better starting next season . Should be much better in the near future. L M is committed to the weight room. I see really good things coming.

Gotta be happy for Roan Mountain and the kids, Good to get that Dog off you're back. Its gonna swing the other way shortly. I'll go out on a limb and say it starts next tear. Reckon they play twice next season.

    • What we have here is an influx of outsiders raining down on the town of Maryville like a swarm of locust trying to change our culture into the same crap they moved away from. I have no issues with anyone coming here but don't bring your politics with you. Most people around here never pay attention to the elections and keep letting the same ole rats and vermin right back in the back door and wonder why things are like they are. The problem at Maryville High is mainly due to letting outsiders get a foothold on control and shove their agenda down everyone's throat. Anyone that leaves there or let's say ranoff are replaced with an outsider with the same mindset. Eventually Maryville High will never be the same as it once was which I'm beginning to believe already but it's only chance of survival are to recruit people that will get in there and reverse the damage that has already happened.
