Farragut vs DB 2018

In NET we hear this year in and year out....

"You can't beat teams from Knoxville", "Something magical happens when you cross the Knox County line", etc.

I have even been guilty of quoting these colloquialisms from time to time.   But guess what, last year a 7-0 Farragut team marched into Kingsport and left 7-1.    DB will have to play solid on both sides of the ball and not make a lot of mistakes or penalties, if that happens then the Tribe takes care of business once again to the tune of 28-24.

If the game is at FHS.  I think the Ads get the win.  Their passing game is really good and Pass defense is not DB's strength.

I'm sure Farragut hasn't forgotten that either. I'm sure they'll be ready this year.

Technically yes, but in NET "Knox County" is a euphemism for all points west and south of Knox County.   You're welcome....

We know that. That is the reason for my post. Three of last years state champions are from what I call the "Foothills Area" which is south of the big river that flows through Knoxville.

Just kidding around, we all know that Blount County is the phootball capital of Tennessee.

This is the map when Greenback was still in Blount County. The county line went all the way to the Little Tennessee River. Most of the county was still indian territory.

To keep this on topic, the road from Knoxville to Kingston is modern day Kingston Pike, which is where Farragut High School is located, close to the, at that time, Roane County line.
