I believe some crow needs to be put in oven Friday. I believe stone and macon wins over yalls beloved region! Macon has won 3 out of last 4 and upperman would put a whooping on anyone in middle Tennessee so dont count us out this round!

S..W..E..P..T! FYI, your #1 team wouldn't even make the playoffs in our region. No, Upperman is good but they wouldn't put a "whoopin" on every team in middle Tennessee.

At no point was macon even close to being in this game.Macon plays in the weakest region in the state of 4a and has the one of the weakest schedules. They did have a better season than most people thought and should b a lot better next year If they can find some speed next year could b good.

MC returns a lot of starters next year. Majority of the offense and defense. There’s a lot of talent within the school they could get out to play.

Plus, there’s a lot of young speedy guys on the team that didn’t get to play this year, that will next year.

Coach Shoulders was the right man for the job. MC will be back A LOT sooner than what people thought.

If everybody can stay healthy, MC should be region favorites and has potential to be very good going into next year.

I disagree. Region 8 is weaker in 4A.

WEAKEST SCHEDULE! We play best schools around not in our region.  Trousdale, upperman, Westmoreland, Portland and Smith. All very respectful programs. Gimme a break

That's a pretty weak schedule for a 4A school with the exception of Upperman.  Schedule some good 5&6A schools to prepare you for the postseason.

Should be some good competition just across the state line though.

Not real close. Bowling Green/Warren county, KY schools would be the closest larger, more competitive schools. Trust me, Macon wants NO part of Bowling Green High, Central or South Warren. The East Warren school maybe, but probably wouldn’t be worth it to them.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
