Wow, what a great game and two closely matched teams! 

Covington Chargers played a great game as I expected they would! Great great team loaded with talent and coached well!

Congrats! Alcoa F5 Tornadoes!!

Lots of heart and fight out of the Chargers. Some predicted three to four score win for Alcoa. Props to Coach Wheeler and staff. They always have the boys prepared mentally even with all the naysayers. Also didn’t run any of our Wing T offense. Looked like a lot of the veer and the midline from our offense and moved the ball well all night in a totally different scheme and a solid game plan.

It is a Devil. Alcoa wore the Hall Devils uniforms this year as a tribute to Hall High Schools  50 year anniversary. They wore the uni in the Northview Academy game. Kept the mascot on the helmet.

Without the penalty, do y’all think Alcoa kicks the 38 yarder for the win or runs the O back out there on 4th and 7? And were they running a fake or just simply trying to draw Covington offsides?

Don’t think Rankin had any intention of kicking a fg into the wind from that distance anyway...

Yes, I hate it for the Chargers. Covington has been there 6 times only to bring home silvers each time. keep your heads held high. You have a great football program!!
