Sounds like y'all may take a small step back last year. It's always tough replacing a few linemen when you're a smaller school, though I'm sure the ones playing this year are some pretty big boys. TC always had some big linemen from 2003-2010. Y'all should have another great game with watertown. I believe they're in the same boat as y'all with replacing some linemen.

Is y'alls QB the player to look out for?

His kid is the starting QB at TC lol.

I haven't kept up with high school football in about 6 years (as I'm sure you can tell) and possibly might go to the game this Friday. Just wanting to know a little info about the team we will be playing.

I went to one game last year and it was against DCA. Ending up leaving before the end of the 3rd quarter because the game was out of hand. Hoping to see a better game this Friday.

Trousdale won't be a one-player offense. To be honest, you have to watch out for #2,#5,#6,#7,#9,#11,#23,#18 all will touch the ball. The QB is a great athlete with lots of speed. The defense will cause a lot of problems for other teams most teams won't do well-getting hit like the way TC does for 4 quarters. The LB’s are huge and fast and will light you up. Also, the defensive game plan the coach puts together will stop most teams from even putting 7 points on the scoreboard. The O line is young And needs some work but they will be fine.

Thanks for the info RTD, that’s more of what I was looking for. I’ll be looking forward to seeing what our offense can do against yalls defense.

I think we have 2 or 3 linemen that will be playing D1 ball in the future. Hopefully they can create some running lanes.

Coach Lowe can hopefully put together a defensive game plan to stop yalls offense somewhat.

Yeah DCA was absolutely terrible last year (went 0-10). How does a team go from playing for a State Championship to going winless the next season is hard to grasp. I watched one of their games and they seemed like they weren't even prepared to play.

Like the others have mentioned TC has plenty of players to watch out for at the skill positions. They probably have a handful of kids that would be the main playmaker on some other schools in the area. But the offensive line is the question mark for this team.

    • Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
