Kevin38
So what does everyone think of this one, Springfield coming off a beat down at the hands of Wilson Central 37-7, and Clarksville a 24-10 win over Rossview. I think the Jackets will be alright if they can cut down on turning the ball over and get the QB situation figured out.....

pilgrim
As always this should be a good game. These teams always play each other hard. Hopefully we will see significant improvements from both teams. I’ll give CHS the edge with 21-14 (If the Jackets defense shows up) If not, it may be closer to 35-7. LEON
Jackets will have to make lots of improvement from week one or it could be a long night in this storied old rivalry.
GaryGaines
Springfield is going to have a bad year. Clarksville wins big.

Maybe, but not ready to say that after one game, it's a long season....

Kevin38
I believe the Jackets show up and play better this week, defense plays like we thought they could, and we run the ball successfully enough to pull out the win, not gonna give a score, it will just be at least one more than them, safe travels to the Clarksville folks..... Down year, compared to the last 4-5 years especially the last 2, yes. Bad year, I’m not ready to call it that yet either. This team will make the playoffs and probably finish top 2 in the region and possible number 1 again. Clarksville is a good football team and it will be a tough task to get the win. I do think if they get the mistakes corrected on offense, and they will, they will be fine. Edited August 30, 2019 by Poundtherock23
Kevin38
Jackets looking okay, defense playing well, the Clarksville punter needs to just punt the darn ball and quit fooling around (or not, lol)..... Jackets up 14-3 3mins 1st half
