The Central offense is averaging a whopping 4.2 points a game .(0-14-0)  Let's not get too cocky.

True. But Polk gave up a whopping 47 against Marion and 29 against SBA. They also lost to Copper Basin.......

Etowah shouldn't be cocky about anything at all, but I do think they get it rolling this week. This one will be a war! Really wish it was a Thursday game, so I could see it!

Why the Etowah reference? You and another Meigs fan keep saying Etowah. The school is in Englewood. Just saying.

I have never understood this, there are 2 manufacturing plants on the other side of the highway that are Etowah.

Does McMinn Central just have an Englewood address? is that what it is or something else? It just feels like you're in Etowah.

Some of the older folk in Etowah claim it is in Etowah, but through politics the folks in Englewood made it an Englewood mailing address. Funny how the people in those two small towns fuss with each other, over little things.

Up to a certain point, things on one side of the highway are Englewood and the other side is Etowah.

Englewood address. Etowah phone number. Athens and Etowah utilities.

    • While I appreciate being credited with multiple accounts, I have to say that is not true. Will you please report back to your people that I am not someone who provides sharp, witty banter, but rather someone who is putting the shoe on the other foot for some people that have been repeatedly bashing others here and in real life for the past few years? Everything that I have stated has been backed by factual evidence or public record, so no need to be sharp and witty.
    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
