People keep talking like this '6A' has been around a long time.  In actuality it is only a little over 10 years old.  If any team can claim anything like dominance it would be Maryville under Coach Quarells (sp?).

Before there was a 6A, middle dominated and Maryville OWNED 4A.

You are mistaken sir about the year and team. The other poster and I were speaking about white station high school. They are the team that went 5-8 and beat Germantown in the playoffs. White station played Maryville in the first 6A title game and won.

BPM, you are right.  I read thru too quickly and confused the Germantown team that played R'dale for the Gold Ball in the early 2000's.
