Not sure about Scott's Hill but Waverly is big and physical and likes to play rough. About time you think they are slow #8 will take a direct snap and will leave a vapor trail. The Tigers just need to clean up the penalties and they'll be in position to make a nice run in November. Good luck fellas and remember we're coming for redemption next year.

GAME DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't think no one is as excited as I am! At the same time a little sadden by the fact that after tonight we will already be halfway through the regular season! Man, wait all winter and summer for it to get here and then boom, it gets here and it's almost over before you know it! Either way, looking forward to tonight, Scott's Hill always gives us a run for our money!

If we can say that we gave Waverly a run for their money after this game, It'll be a sign that we are progressing. We have a great bunch of kids... they're all in as far as effort and coachability, they are just too few and too young to compete unless Waverly offers us a gift (or two). Houston Co. was big, strong, and well coached... we were right there at halftime with them but just wore down in the 4'th. Fayette Co. has some athletes, and are getting better quickly with Coach Hodum in his second season... until the half, it was a good game. Waverly is as athletic as FW and will be as fundamentally sound and strong as Houston County... if we can put up a fight against them, we'll be ok for the rest of the season.

Ditto. Our history is short, but lots of respect for the Tigers from The Hill... nothing but all out and no quarter on the field, but always treated with class.

Given your extensive coverage of football and the apparent breadth of your expertise, I am inclined to seek your esteemed opinion on the matter: who, in your estimation, emerges as the favored candidate? Furthermore, since the mantle of head coach has been vacated, upon whom would you bestow the mantle of leadership?
    • Shoulders dad graduated for TC, and Kyle began his coaching career early on at TC although he wasn't there long. Shoulders would be a homerun, but don't see him leaving Macon anytime soon.

    • Perhaps it is within the realm of possibility that the comprehension of my discourse, both by yourself and others, may be circumscribed by the boundaries of intellectual acumen. Might one contemplate this notion from such a perspective? Allow me to clarify that my intent does not lean towards disparagement, save for instances where provocation is directed towards myself or the esteemed troupe of the Trousdale County Yellow Jackets who proudly find domicile upon the hallowed grounds of CREEKBANK. In contemplation of the candidates under discussion, it is conjectured that individuals such as Gregory, Woodmore, Vetetoe, Eden, Hackett, and Cothron may emerge as contenders. Regrettably, it is deemed improbable that Shoulders shall express interest in this pursuit. Speculation arises regarding the potential candidacy of BJ West, albeit the implications of familial ties with Lafayette introduce complexities to such a scenario. The enigma of Dr. Clint's deliberations looms large, fraught with the weight of a formidable decision yet to be made.
    • My kind sir, you seem to be lost within the time space continuum having traveled from the 16th Century or you aspire to hide your true intelligence by masking your language with that of the great playwright. You know good and well, your commentary takes your fellow comrades hours to decipher what you are really saying and most of them are likely left questioning whether you have insulted them or find them to be in your favor. I offer you some advice. In my travels through this area of the country, it is best to speak slow and with a twang and you don't annunciate  words to their fullest. Your points will be clear then!  Any names been mentioned around town as Actual Applicants to this job? Seen several post mentioning individuals, but I haven't heard of any of them except for Shoulders. Does he have ties to TC?  Have amy of the other names mentioned ever been in the HC position before?
