What if Boone figures out how to play a second half like they do a first half?  How long is Cole out anyway?

There is some type of county ordinance (for Washington Co.) that mandates Boone become unglued in the second half.     Over the years we have tried our best to be in compliance with that ordinance.    I have a theory as to why Boone always falls apart after halftime, but this is not the venue to discuss it.     So DB fans, don't worry if you are only up by 10-15 points at halftime, just be patient and you will win by 50..... it's the LAW!        Boone will be Cole-less for the remainder of the season.

You do see the 24-0 score right?  DB playing awful and still winning. Teams over the last few years for DB would be losing...

That is true, but DB was aided in the first half by Boone turning the ball over 4 times. DB's quarterback and a couple of receivers have played well but that's about it. The defense has made a few good stops. Neither team is playing well and the ref's are equally as bad. Stopped the game with 6 seconds left in the half for lighting, then just called the first half over just when DB was getting ready to kickoff to Boone. So Boone loses a play.

Sorry you're going through this. Know how it feels.  But it was ugly on both sides tonite.

DB just didn't have their head in the game from the get go. Boone's line went toe to toe with DB pretty much the whole game. So kinda' makes you wonder. Nobody has any fear of DB the way they used to so they need to show up with their A game every Friday night.  I know everybody is already looking ahead to the Alcoa game and that's a mistake. Farragut just gave Maryville all they wanted tonight so that's a team that they'll have to be at their best to beat. Can't play the way they did tonight and be undefeated going into that last game. But right now, 38-0 and 5-0, it's hard to be upset over that.

Boone obviously has a great line but lack in other places ... They seem to play great the first half and played toe to toe with The Cyclones in the first half . DB had one of the worst nights of the year so far but still Won .

Everyteam has a night off , just like Maryville did tonight but DB needs to improve every game from here in out or the last game will be "Faded Hopes " !
