I saw a team in Lawrence that had a "why are we here" body language for most of the night. The fans seem to treat it as a scrimmage.

Fans ?  Have you guys ever played a Memphis team in the playoffs ?  No fans come maybe 20 at most.  The players still give it their all

i meant Forrest fans. They were socializing not really watching or cheering

look at it from lawrences view. they had nothing to gain from that game. and about 3 hrs of travel round trip

That is a perfect description. There was a different atmosphere at that game. Fans were indifferent.

no one except die hards knew who we were playing. where are they? who have they beaten? lost to? the opponent was so anonymous. even in previous years when we got Page there was a common knowledge of them. couple people askedme if they were an alabama school  - i said no that was lauderdale co and they were good.

Plus our school website had it listed as an away game.

It was 37-0 with less than 1 minute remaining in the 4th.
