Yikes... who is the OC?

Basically the head coach.  They Will be fine.  Can’t fix what took 4 years to run in the ditch in 1 year. Wheeler will get them back on track.  They will start keeping their middle schoolers.  They don’t have a lot of talent and no depth right now.  Some Cleveland folks like to blame Bradley for recruiting but reality is most kids just didn’t like the culture of the last 4 years and chose a better atmosphere to be in.  My guess is Cleveland makes a big jump next year.

Give WB a little credit. We made a big stop on 4th and inches. We have been in every game except Maryville in the second half, but the ball never bounced our way. It bounced our way tonight. We will be rooting for Cleveland to beat Ooltewah next week. Good luck!

Renshaw

Head Coach is the one with final say so.  That’s why they have run the ball so much.  It’s Wheelers offense.  Renshaw would throw it around more if it were his offense 100%.  He’s a spread guy.  They are conservative in part to eat clock and keep their defense off the field.  They can’t stop the run.  Talent and depth are their problem.  They have roster numbers similar to a 2A school. There is one dominant 1A school in the area that dresses as many as Cleveland does.  Adam Renshaw is the least of the problems with that program.  The one and only problem is no longer there.  They will in good shape in 24 months.

The next test will be the Sausage Bowl against the Wamplers. We all remember what happened the last time WB went to visit the Wampler's.

They are 1-8 and their only win of the season right now is a 1-point win over Heritage.

If we can't win that game we really are snakebit.

Bearden was 0-9 the last game of the year and William Blount somehow found a way to lose that game a few seasons ago with the same head coach you have now. Also got shutout last game of the season last year by a very very weak 4A school 27-0. WB seems to have some bad luck in the past with that last game for some reason. Hope they do well Friday Night, will be pulling for you.

It is not the last game necessarily. It is more like there is a supernatural force preventing us from winning more than 3 games.

    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
