Yeah that 1980 team was the 2nd best team in 1A that year. I remember them being really big. That was back in the 3 class system. Championships were harder to come by then.

One of my older brother in laws played on that team. I was 3. Word was the game was not close.

Final was 20 to 6 it was played at Lake County. Back then the title games were played on homefields.
