I guess that you can stand on the fact that you didn't "pick" the winner, but this makes a good case for some crow leftovers being served.

You're right Bigpun… I didn't pick the winner either, but General twisted my words to make it look like I was crazy for saying that Riverside even had a chance to make it a game. Guess he was just being his usual contrarian self, and never thought he'd have to explain, which he hasn't.

I said it was silly to claim Lewis was in for a rude awakening. They lost by 4 points. I'm sure both teams played har.d Not sure what your point is.

I twitsed nothing.  I never commented on the game nor picked a winner.  I said trying to find a bone to pick with Lewis in pregame was silly, and it was.

I said nothing of the sort . Lewis WAS 3 TDs better in week 1. however, i didnt pick fridays game.

I'm not trying to take credit for picking an upset here... I didn't say that I thought Riverside would win, but I did imply that Lewis County would have their hands full with the Panthers. Looks like they did in fact have their rude awakening... a team that they beat by a comfortable margin earlier in the year will be playing next week while their Friday nights are free for a while.

   You are free to say that you never commented on the game if you want to lose credibility, but it's in black and white that you found it "silly" to consider that Riverside could win.

its just not. you saw what u wanted to see. you can paste my entire commentary on that game.  i never picked a winner, much less a margin.

Fine by me. In fact, I could have used that exact line with you when you asked if it was "silly" to post what I did about what could potentially happen in the game.

  I'll try to use this as a learning experience for the future... I usually just use the old standard "I was wrong" response when I'm surprised at the outcome of a game... maybe I could be right more often if I'd argue the fine points of my position.

Hey guys I really hate using your thread for this argument but thing is he never commented on our comments in the other thread and just trying to prove a point. The general is tap dancing around the words he used and apparently not going to back up. To use his own words in a different thread he is classless
