I will post this, Oneida has a team church service Thursdays in the field house. Been doing it for years. Have had several players saved during those. Well yesterday had another one. That's 2 I know of this season, possibly more not sure. There's a stat that matters far more than a scoreboard. I'm posting this for a reason, sometimes, especially after a difficult loss we all can sometimes take our eyes off things that truly matter. Hampton players, especially seniors, I know you're hurting, I challenge all of us to try to find the true plan God has for us and maybe even a blessing hidden in what seems to be a terrible time.

Yes Sir....I love Acts 2:38; Mark 16:16; Romans 6th chapter...when people follow the word and are saved, that's what matters in this life

I wouldn't know how to act on a team like that. I grew up around a bunch of fornicating outlaws who made fun of church folk.

Our D played WELL

Ok changed my mind, I'll post tonight. Yes I thought both defenses played well tonight. Both had some let downs and the other team capitalized on those let downs. I think both offenses were a little sloppy, playing good defenses seems to have that affect from my experience. Hats off, hard nosed and hard fought as usual.

We'd bring you around even if we had to near drown you in a bucket of holy water :roflolk:

Seriously,  i would've loved being a part of that. My dad was a tremendous pastor and i still can't believe to this day that he let me play for cland in the early 90s.  The kids were far rougher than they are today.  Hampton and cland were feared and not just on the football field

    • To be fair to the head coach, he may have submitted his roster of players to the AD and the AD with the help of a counselor checks the academic status of each player then submits to the TSSAA.  Some coaches do not submit eligibility status on the TSSAA portal
    • Has does the AD still have a job at the school. Someone had to submit eligibility rosters to the TSSAA before the season starts.  That’s usually submitted by the AD along with head coach.  Someone submitted the ineligible student and was listed as eligible.  That will come out soon as it can be checked on the TSSAA portal who submitted the eligibility status of all players.
    • Your lucky, my head hit my desk….. desk is fine.
    • This is my ranking, not computer generated. I factored in how poorly that region competed in postseason play…which is why Loretto and LC didn’t make the cut. Loretto is probably 11 though.
    • They are absolutely loaded! If you look at their season schedule I don’t think an Instate team has beat them! They have many D1 commits! With the best Coach in the state I don’t see anyone stopping them for a 3-peat!!!
