He didn't lose. His team did. No one team can win or lose.

The point that I made earlier is that on film it looked like SS was having difficulty with him being a bigger guard.

People like me? I've said nothing about individual awards or individual players. The previous poster brought the players name into it. I was bringing up a weakness from what I saw on the film.

Y'all have fun. I hope SS does well. We'll see soon enough.

Also you can’t criticize a team & wish a team well! Food for thought!

Ya'll crazy in this thread. Here are some facts:

1. South Side is undefeated and ranked number 1 in the state

2. They can't control how bad or good their District teams are this year

3. They have played some quality non district opponents

4. Their district has been one of the best in the state in the past

5. When you are on top everybody takes a shot so you gotta be ready every night or you will get beat.

6. this is going to be a fun post season

Hypocrite to me! But your grown so I guess we are different!

Just because I think a team is weak in areas and needs a tougher schdule every year to test themselves doesn't mean I don't hope they do well. I usually analyze games, even when I coached, from a realistic point of view. Still doesn't mean I can't point out flaws and strengths but hope they do well.

1. We all know rankings mean jack crap. People that vote don't see the teams they vote for. Undeafeated teams usually get ranked high

2. Said that time and time again but they can schdule better non-district games.

3. Who?

4. Who has been good that could compete? Chester County? No. Scott's Hill? No. Riverside? No. Mcnairy? No. Adamsville? No. Northside? No. If this is the best district in the state in AA then AA is much weaker than I thought.

5. Kind of.

6. Can they beat the teams they need to? Have they been battle tested enough?

1. The fact is they are No. 1 in the state and undefeated

3. Madison - Bolivar - Dyersburg - Poplar Bluff (MO) - Southmoore (OK)

4. IN THE PAST... Not currently. IN THE PAST... Fayette Ware, Lexington, Bolivar, Liberty

5. For sure on this one

6. I think they have been tested for sure. I also think last season plays a role with this team because they bring everyone back.

    • No reasonable lawyer would take up this case. I am not a lawyer, but I know school law in and out.  Similar situations just like this play out thousands of times each year across the country, even at the college level (i.e. Ole Miss)  The Plaintiff's never win...ever.  If I am wrong, please provide a legal precedent for me. I will be waiting.  https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/39431892/judge-drops-ole-miss-player-lawsuit-lane-kiffin
    • Yes Justin Cruse was named head coach
    • It used to be, I think it still is, a change of 20% +/- gives reason to reclassify. Schools can choose to play up classifications but not down. Here is the mid cycle reclassification info on TSSAA.org When Memphis East changed from a regular public school to an "all-optional" school in 2017 the would've dropped to A but chose to stay in AAA in basketball (baseball, and softball) Penny was still coaching there and with the players they had they would've beaten A teams by 40 and slept walked to the championship. Other Memphis schools stayed in their classifications (mostly in basketball) until the next reclassification cycle. Of course this is the same time that a 4th class was added basketball.
