WaReAgLe3
Why in the world is the TSSAA letting them come in? They are out here just loading up on talent. They should just stay out and compete with the likes of Hamilton Heights and play a National schedule.
coachinhoops
They are private, so what difference does it make.
Indian
Tellico Plains probably regrets them starting up.
5524
Why would Tellico Plains regret that?

Indian
Scholarships generally come from AAU. Didnt say it was a good or bad decision, just hurts Tellico. UTC already looking close and others will follow. She was already known before heading to Morristown.
oxybob
At Lakeway kids play for a two time National coach of the year and back to back to back State titles. There are no scholarships and only needs based tuition assistance for any student. They don’t recruit, they don’t have to. They will be in the new building next school year. I’m sure more kids will want to go to the state of the art school. They have college coaches watching practice and games. Great exposure for high school. Justin Combs left his head coaching position at Grainger to be an assistant at Lakeway. People are already hating on Lakeway as they can foresee what a juggernaut it is about to become in all athletics.
oxybob
Yes Randy Coffman and Justin Combs are both at Lakeway. They will grow despite the local TSSAA board member that passed several rules to delay til next school year their full membership. It also put penalties on kids that are already in high school if they move to Lakeway inside 20 miles.
