Officially resigned today to go to Tennessee Tech

In life you will find the only person that will take care of you is 'YOU'.   You may get lucky in some things like combat where your battle buddies may do for you, but don't bet on it 100%.

Now what was his guarantee at SC?  How about salary and benefits?  Was his wife also offered something at Tech?

There a million things none of us will know as to how and why Coach made the decision he did.

In football - it's about doing it for the guy playing next to you. You can not win consistently in a team game playing for yourself. - That is what makes it the greatest game in the world. It takes everyone - and not just the 11 on the field for a given play. - And that goes for coaches too.... And you CAN bet on that 100%.

No guarantees at SC or any high school program I promise you. Nor are there any for a college assistant. Tech probably pays a little more. He does not have a wife.

As far as the other million things - as you said no one knows.

Anyone have a feel for this one? Are they doing a wide search, or just hire from within. This an interesting job, that if led by the right person whose fully invested seems like it would be really successful.
