RE McDonald got the head coaching job. His going to have DJ Key, Dakota Crews, and Damien Clayton as assistants. I hope he’s a better High School coach than Middle School. I’m excited to see former player DJ Key coming back to coach here. I’m assuming the two others are from Lewis.

Good luck to y'all… as much as I want us to win each game, I don't want it to be because the other is not good, but because we're better than a good team. Hope the new staff enjoys success there.

They are scrimmaging Stewart County in the spring.  I spoke with Coach Smithson last week at the basketball tournament.  He also has a couple of very experienced assistants who will be helping him next season.  

 

I also heard that Coach Harrison will be coaching at Columbia Academy.  That will be a great fit for him.

DJ Key was a good high school player. Interested how many hometown guys he is going to put on his staff

Also he had a great career at UTC. It should help rejuvenate the program. Seems like the HC was put in place so his assistants could run the program.
