Just think how much better, fluid and more technical every team would be with 2-3 years of experience prior to getting into the high school room, yet alone what WC, Cleveland, Bradley, etc. has kids starting their high school career with 7-10 years of experience. absolutely. and a lot of them with 7+ years of experience together with the same teammates in the same room. not only do they become skillfully sound, but that builds an unbreakable team chemistry which also goes along way. Oh yes, and now you’re not teaching the basics as much to start, but how to become more efficient with what they already know, different set-ups and perfecting the craft rather than learning the craft. Yes! And when you have teammates who understand your strengths and weaknesses, you do not have to depend on your coach so much to be so in-tune with what needs to be corrected with all the kids, because your teammates will have the knowledge and experience to help “coach” in the practice room and watching from the bench/stands.
BiffmarFairview
Kendrick Curtis Fairview 152 A-AA unranked freshman pinned ranked senior Jacob Roberts in quarters. He may catch him again tomorrow in consi finals if they both get there.

Through all of us working together to get everyone to that level. Joint practices, welcoming other kids to clubs, promoting clubs, helping with transportation, providing funding to start these programs, etc. it won’t be tomorrow, or 2 years from now, but starting with getting excitement and selling the vision at the high school, trickling it down to the middle school and youth programs. As we can see, our national brand of Tennessee wrestling is improving, but we need to keep pushing and finding more ways to help each other out. The only way to get better is mat time with kids that are your level or better than you.

Yep a rebuilding year they say. We also return 7 out the 10 medalist and all 4 that are in the finals

Is that supposed to be sarcasm or a shot at all the wrestlers, coaches, fans and administrators involved with Fairview, Whitwell and the entire "small school" community. Maybe they care as much as you and the mighty, high powered Tennessee "big school" community does about their business. I can just hear some wrestling fan in IA, PA, OH, NJ, CA, etc. community asking "wow did you see that upset at the TN state tourney"? and some arrogant jerk says "who cares, that's TN".
