I got Westview. Covington I heard on here their PG may be hurt. Don’t know but losing to Melrose was an upset, IMO. I will take Westview by 10.

Kind of surprised by the last couple of games played by Covington, with the OT win and their loss to Melrose...Westview is playing better defense than anyone in the State in AA and they have been fully healthly over a month now. I think WV is too much for them, especially at home. The Martin faithful truly believe that if Callins would've been healthy all year, they'd be 32-0 right now along with their interior post play. I am starting to concur based upon their performances over the last month.

I believe Macon County is the favored to win AA and WV is in the next tier down (along with Upperman & Nolensville). It'd be nice to see WV get another one, if they can take care of business on Saturday and get there.....again. Macon County is a very good basketball team, but I believe WV is very concentrated on Covington right now.

I asked you this in another post. What makes this year so special for Westview? They definitely will make it to state. 8th year in a row is special, but why would you say they win the gold ball this year? What makes year 8 so special? I do think their best chance was last year, when it was no clear favorite in AA. When Upperman loss & Macon went dwn all the “big dogs” was eliminated. Macon County was young last year, so now they add experience! It’s a lil different than A! Loretto is the only team that can beat y’all(Greenfield) but you are still 5-8 better! Give y’all the gold ball now! It don’t work like that in AA!

It’s all about peaking at the right time. The Westview Coach is a good coach and he knows that. Who knows I may be wrong but Westview looks like the team to beat to me. I appreciate your kind words for Greenfield but its not a sure thing. We love our team but let’s let this year play out. This could be a very special year.
