Well Friday Night Lights are almost here fellas . I hope both teams make to to friday with no one sick and they get to play . Whats Lincoln Co gonna look like his year ? Good luck to both teams and Go Bobcats !!

I'd be surprised if this is very close. Lincoln County is still down a lot and has a brand new coaching staff. I'd say 42-14 Giles County.

Giles will only lose if they have absolutely nothing. Lincoln County only has 1 difference maker. 3A beats 5A here.

Let's not sleep on Lincoln Co.  They have had several new guys come out and a QB who can beat you with his legs and his arm!

True about the qb. The couple of new guys are decent but they were 2-8 last year and only averaged about 5 pts per game. They can be a little better and still be bad. Unless something crazy happens, I don’t think they will finish above .500 the next 5 years. Don’t have the talent to compete in 5A.

(My first post, but I’ve been involved with high school football for over 35 years.) What happened to Lincoln County’s program? I remember when they were state title contenders each year.

Lincoln county still picks up some kids from Fayetteville City but as Fayetteville continues to build a quality program, I assume that will almost stop. Also, some of the LC’s administration have made questionable decisions that have hurt their sports programs IMO.

Hats off to #12 of LC ...he’s one tough kid ... Giles just had way too many penalties and turn overs to beat anyone .got some work to do for sure but Go Bobcats !
