57eagle
Wow.........Almost left at the end of the 3rd. Oh, how I wish we would throw on first down just once in a while. Would open things up sooooo much. Nothing like back seat coaching, right? LOL! GREAT COMEBACK EAGLES! I believe we can see where this is going..... I literally jinxed the Mustangs with that comment as the on side kick was out of bounds and it wasn’t close. Congrats to Rhea though. clevelandblueraiderfan
WV seems to still be learning how to win. 2 close games they have lost where they had big leads. I expect them to start finishing those games as the season goes on. Miss Rhea being on our schedule. They have the same type of athletes they had a few years back, but the coaching is much improved on both sides of the ball. WV had control of this game early in the fourth and Rhea was fortunate to get the high snap and safety to get in position for the comeback. However, that’s part of the game, you play for the breaks and make the most of them and that’s what the Eagles did. Proud of these young Eagles for never quitting and finding a way to win. Lots of potential for this group over the next few years. Also miss the Cleveland/ Rhea games.

I know there is no such thing as a “moral victory” but you got to feel good about the way the Mustangs are playing now they just have to learn how to close out these big games. I think they are heading in the right direction. Good luck the rest of the season!
