Now that we are a month into the 2020-2021 school year for most let's see your school's enrollment numbers that will be used to determine classification for the next 2 years after this year.  Thanks.

You are poking a wasp nest, but I know exactly what you are getting at.

Question since I don’t know:  Do enrolment numbers matter in D2?  I thought it was more of how much aid is offered.

2018 classification numbers for D2, there are a few changes since these came out. Classification is determined by enrollment for D2:

Class A 16 0-265
Class AA 19 266-530
Class AAA 11 531 and greater

Thanks O&B!  Schools can play up correct?  I don't think Ensworth and BA have 500+ students.

IF they still decide to play up. They get to make that decision again. Remember last time there was contention due to several schools hiding numbers to stay down.

How could a school hide numbers?  I remember their was some remarks about CPA and Webb being suspiciously around 450 or something.  I logged onto my account, looked at the directory and saw that the number was true for us.  I imagine every school has similar functionality so it would seem very hard and not worth it to try to hide a number of students.

I'm just curious, I don't even know who the suspected schools were, LOL, probably us for all I know.

FWIW, I just looked again, right now we are 115 + 116 + 99 + 118 = 448

What happened to your junior class? 15-20% lower would set off alarms to me.

That's the sophomores, they'll probably pick up some over the next 2 years from the waitlist but 8th and 7th are around 115 each so not a lot of cap room.  I think I saw that we added 8 new high schoolers last year, didn't pay attention this year,

I don't think private schools have to turn in numbers to the state, I may be wrong (similar to how homeschool are counted, possibly?) . It seemed like the last class change a couple of schools barely scraped by not going to the largest class.

Curiously, how do some schools with close to 1,000 students still play DII-A.  Is it high school enrollment numbers or total student enrollment?  Might help explain some of the dominance of some programs over others.

He needs to be back home in the Purple & Gold, regardless of if he is HC or not or even if he doesnt coach at all, his presences will improve the environment. But Again, I have no clue if he would even be interested.
