Coach Wilson treats every region game like its for the region championship. He does treat the WH game with a little more emphasis. He lost to them when he played and he lets the team know that they don’t want to have that feeling after a loss to WH.

94-97 seasons. He was on a team that beat WH in 94 playoffs and the regular season I think. That Springfield team lost to Portland in the semi’s if my memory serves me correctly.

It was. Think about this.....in a 7 season span there were 3 state championships won and 6-7 Mr. Football awards won in 20 mile radius of each other. Portland having 4 Mr. Football lineman awards in a row. Plus double dipping in 98 with Mr. Football back and lineman in the same season.

I just looked up the Jackets beat WH 26-8 in the 1994 3rd rd. Then Portland knocked the Jackets off 30-14 in the semis that yr. Portland was runner ups

In 93 Jackets beat WH in the semis 12-6. Time flies
