Just shows a wide gap between you and the rest of the region. Didn't surprise me in the least.

I really dont believe the gap is really that big. But maybe in a couple weeks we will know. Their defense normally keeps them in it against us and they use to really scheme Swafford well for the most part. I really thought Oneida had this one in the bag. One of our assets this year is you can't just focus on one player when defending us.

Surprised by the outcome of this one.

Didn’t surprise me at all. Though it was going to overtime on the last drive. I made the boxer comparison a few weeks ago when it comes to these two it was true again this year the clock just ran out.

Well Crow was right when he said it was always a close game between these two teams. It's looking like you may be set to face Happy Valley in round 1 of the playoffs at a guess. Meigs and Oneida will have to play along with Hampton and South Greene to determine who's first seed in both regions 1 and 2

Yeti now is the appropriate time to assign us to the 3rd place spot lol.

Hate doing that to a team where I have buddies on the opposing sides, but I do feel like we have an advantage offensively. Defensively we both let Rockwood score 21 on us.  we will save this chatter for our thread in a couple weeks.

Yep, been watching these two go toe to toe for years. It is a rare occurrence for either to lose by more than 10 to the other.

Hate that I missed this slobber knocker. Had to take family on mini vacation. Drove car around and saw BiGBen, Parliament, Big Ben, Parliament, Big Ben and Parliament. Fun times. But I think my next family vacation will be A vegas Vacation.

It was a classic Oneida/Rockwood matchup.

    • I believe that was last year. I was interested in the Jones vs Baker comment, so I went back and looked at GC. I am not a fan of either nor am I a baseball guru. This looks like to me the duel was not close and if the errors would not have been made Eagleville would have won. I assume you are a little biased. I do think your mph for Jeffcoat and Baker must be from last year.  Baker-85 pitches 67 strikes. 5.2 innings, 5H, 1BB, 0ER and 7K's. 3 errors  Jones- 78 pitches 37 strikes. 4 innings, 2H, 5BB, 0ER and 1K. 1 error   Adams and the UH kid are really good as well. What about South Pitt and Oakdale? I heard they have some good ones.
    • I hate this for all the kids in the program and fans alike. I can't recall of anything like this before in my lifetime but I'm sure it isn't a first. After criminal investigations are complete and the TSSAA looks into this the program it will be facing Nuclear Winter for some time to come. It's always the innocent left behind that end up paying the price for something someone else has done. I'm sure the transfer portal will be very active in Clinton over the summer months. How could you find a good coach worth his salt that would take on a situation like this not knowing what will happen.
    • I’ve seen Jeffcoat in person twice and he was 84-87 both times and the one time I saw Baker he was low 80’s, he actually got out dueled by Jones from ER in that outing.
    • Pirate fans, thread is up on the baseball message board.
