LA vs. Dekalb County

I think this matchup could go either way. I feel like DC wins by 7.

DC wins by couple scores 35-21

Don’t know much about LA, but DC is big across the line and have a really good offense. They seemed to have problems on D containing  the edges, but overall DC is a very solid football team.

 

I will go with DC on this one!

Very crazy that Livingston and DeKalb have had 14 previous match-ups since 2001 and the Wildcats are 13-1.
 

Livingston is getting more comfortable throwing the football and if they figure it out completely, it'll be interesting to see how their season plays out.

King you bring up a very interesting stat. I have watched several of these games over the years and from the stands it always seems like Livingston is the more physical football team. I have said it before concerning DeKalb, but I feel like they struggle against physical football teams. This year they got a couple guys on the line that could shut down the Golden Corral. How physical is Livingston this year? Will homecoming be a distraction for DeKalb.

I mean they're physical. And they play with an edge about them. 

It'll be interesting to see how DeKalb County plays as the "favorite" here for whatever reason. If stats serve my memory correct, Livingston has an 800 yard rusher already on the year.

Looking at common opponents doesn't make DeKalb look like the favorite. A one point win against Stone Memorial and a loss to Upperman vs. Livingston beating Upperman and Stone Memorial by 22.

Totally agree Speeding. Just letting these fellas enjoy. They do it every year this game is played.

Physicality will determine the outcome of this game.  I think DC will have more athletes on the field but won't matter if they don't answer the bell.  True test this week to show where each team stands.
