The game with east Hickman counts as a covid win for east and is counted as 'no contest " for Waverly.  So Waverly is 3-0 right now in the region.  So the game against Riverside is for first and second place.  Every other teams has at least two losses.

If Hickman was a region game then it was a region loss. Its only no contest if it's a non region game.

If you go to tssaa.org and look a the return to play article and pull up the FAQ .  It states that region games are to be recorded as wins for the teams that could play and a no contest for the team that was unable to play .

It has to count one way or the other for seeding.otherwise you could coronavirus out of all games and be 0-0 in the region.

Well that is from the tssaa so I would say that is the final word.  If you went covid on every game and went 0-0 you would be ineligible for the playoffs because you have not participated in a region game .  http://Tssaa.org/returntoplay
