Congrats to GH.  I hope they keep rolling.  Wouldn't it be great to see Mt. Juliet/Old Hickory/Hermitage shut down to see the clash of the Golden Bears vs Hawks in 5 years?  Great for the area for sure.

It would be. Huge win for Father Ryan last night.

New to the area from Chi-Town! I love high school football and Da-Bears! Havn't been too impressed with the local Bears. Caught a Green Hill game the last week. Tough team and tough kids! Was very surprised this is a first year program. Thanks Ron for introducting me to the T.

Welcome to CoachT.

My brother and I are huge Bears fans.  5-1 on the year behind Nick Foles has us pumped right now.  You should check out '312 Pizza Company' at 371 Monroe Street in Nashville if you want a great venue to watch the Bears games while enjoying a Chicago style pizza (and beverage).  Bear Down!

Not sure what kind of football you are used to watching,  but Green Hill is in no way a "tough team". Go watch Maryville, Oakland, Alcoa. Heck go watch Lewis County if you want to see tough kids play football.

It means they do not play "hard". If you can't figure that out you probably do not know what it actually looks like.

Wow! They’ve won three games straight I believe and they are a first year program. And THAT is what you come with?! I’ve been around high school football for a long time and this is single dumbest comment I’ve ever seen. Most high school players play hard regardless. Mistakes may be made since they’re high school kids, but they usually play hard for their coaches all across this great state and this great country! This is a disgraceful comment and what makes it so disgraceful is doubling down on it. Bad look for you.

He said they are tough for a first year  program if you read each word very super slowly

I read just fine.

No difference between a first year program and an 80 year program when it comes to playing "hard"

It is not like it is the first year the players ever played football.

I saw them play. They didn't play hard. Their sideline was in chaos. Too many "coaches" and not enough instruction. Those kids didn't know who to listen to on their sideline.

Congrats on beating a couple of bad 3A teams. That is better than having to play a JV schedule the first year. Republic did you a favor. However, if you guys think that they are playing hard, then that is a sad commentary on what you are used to seeing.

Nice shiny new school though. I remember when Wilson Central was the "Taj Mahal" in Wilson Co. Those who don't know history are doomed to repeat it.
