Congrats to Trinity.  Lions played well and ran the football like crazy.   For some reason JC decided to do that as well with one of the top passing offenses in the area.  Just mind boggling and stubborn.

Passing game was not on tonight for them. Passes were over their heads. Passes dropped. It was not clicking for them.

I watched online and it appeared TCA brought some pressure and kept the QB on the move all night.  JC QB is dangerous when they fake the jet sweep and he goes backdoor.  TCA is a completely different team with the QB change and Wildcat formation.  Goodwin has found his home as a RB.  He’s an outstanding runner when he’s playing RB.  Very similar to 2015 team with Goldsmith at QB. Not quite as good as 2015 team but a lot of similarities.

Neither was running.  But gotta throw more than 10 passes to determine if it’s on or not.   Sometimes you have to find a rhythm.  

Again hats off to Trinity.  They made the plays when they needed to and pulled of a big win.

Qb was great with his legs. The wind was messing with the passing. The wind was making the ball float more. So after 10 passes they knew it was not going to work. Just heard it from a birdie on their  sideline.
