It really helped Boone to win the Musket Bowl didn't it lol

exactly, that has been my point for a long time.... why do we have to keep scheduling several unwinnable games every year?      What has it gotten us except for guys getting injured?

We lost the MB because Crockett is a better team.      Here's the crazy thing though, it is hypothetically possible for Boone and Crockett to meet again in the playoffs.     Not that I think either of us can beat the Knoxville teams but with Covid causing problems with forfeits..... who knows??

If DB And Science hill win then wouldnt DB get the one seed. That puts db with 9 wins to SH 8 wins

The only thing for sure on this is a Farragut win, since Jeff is way down, Science Hill may have some letdown and Bearden could beat them at home, DB has the hardest task, beating a very good Alcoa team,

I’m not a fan of non-region wins to settle tie breakers. Farragut’s non region losses were to Maryville and West. That kinda sucks to bump down to third seed based on that as a tie breaking criteria. DB has to play Alcoa. It does feel like scheduling an elite team will come back and haunt you down the road. Then again, if all three of us had taken care of business we wouldn’t all be in the three way tangle to start with.
I guess it is what it is, everyone has to come through Maryville to get past quarterfinals anyhow . It’s just a matter of who gets to stave that off the longest.

    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
    • Are you trying to say you didn't find Seven and ShadySlim going at it?
